I am sorry this picture is not the greatest,I am of course lacking a model for it.This dress and several others are going to be sent to Georgia for my granddaughter.
How easy is spending 75 cents on a pillowcase and 10 minutes of sewing time? Now I am trying to make several for each of the little girls I know. The next few I am going to make will have satin ribbon for the ties. This dress uses some of the fabric cut from bottom of pillowcase.Thank you for visiting,Amy

This is very sweet! The pillowcase reminds me of some sheets I had several years ago. Love it!
So cute...I showed my (85 year old) mom and she said that was what "rich" kids wore when she was a child. Her dresses were made from flour sacks! Everything old is new again!
So cute, Amy!
What an adorable dress. I might have to make my girlies some.....with all the spare time I have. yeah, right.
Way too cute Amy. Very inexpensive and what a clever idea. It will be so nice for the hot summer in Georgia.
Do you know that this dress pattern is what an organization called Little Dresses for Africa uses? If you would like to know more about it, go here:

Have a great weekend!
Amy, these pillowcase dresses are super cute. A couple of years ago I bought some embroidered pillowcases to make dresses for my granddaughter. She is nearly five. I better get busy or it won't fit!
